Really? The HWK will never shoot for large part of the game. You're missing a TLT, it's an huge price.

A 2 Agi HWK is a dead HWK

Not really, depends about your list

In a Palob/Asajj/Fenn build, all Palob needs to do is be a nuisance and steal tokens. Palob needs to die fast so you can handle the others better. If Palob is 2 Agi, I just nuke him quick. Also TLT on Palob is not necessarily the best build for him.

I think you guys are overstating how good 2 defense dice are in this case. Even assuming you always have focus (even if focus fired, i.e. you probably need the moldy crow) it's ~equivalent to an evade token, and there are easier ways of getting an evade token. (As an aside I assume you guys are also losing your **** over upcoming reinforce action :P). If all he's doing is triggering mindlink and denying an action, well, there's much cheaper ways to accomplish that too :)

Also worth comparing to Ahsoka capture tie which can do similar things but is cheaper, more reliably and has better options of things to do to still be useful while not shooting (bombs, blocking, etc).

So yeah in terms of cheap focus factory for attanni, I think 14 point inaldra flying away from everyone + more upgrades on others still takes the cake by a long shot ;)

Do you smell it? all that stinky cheese from this combo (and other's like it) - it will have to be fixed soon.

Why? I see nothing broken with this combo. If anything it gives a buff to the Tug Boat. And that's ok in my book.

Depends how you fly the list.

It obviously doesn't make much flavourful sense, but that doesn't mean it isn't an allowed and even intended combo. Many miniature and card games with a strong flavourful theme nevertheless have 'gamey' combos that might not make much sense, but are perfectly within the rules. Just look at any of the crazy infinite combos in MtG. Trying to imagine what would actually be 'happening' if it was being depicted visually would do your head in, but they are nonetheless a large part of the game. Same in X-Wing. What exactly is the flavourful sense of Boba Fett jumping out of your ship to somehow snipe away another pilots ability to 'push the limit'?

In terms of gameplay, it's a neat trick, but it isn't exactly super powerful or broken. Firstly, it only adds 2 green dice to the ship; which, while powerful, doesn't exactly make the ship invincible. Secondly, the ship can't attack as long as it has the token, so you're essentially removing at least a quarter of your list's offensive ability to trade off for survivability. Thirdly, once that token's spent, it can never be got back. A large part of what makes cloaking powerful is the fact that it gives ships very impressive positioning power. But here, you get that only once.

It reminds me of the Scavenger Crane and Captured Tie interaction. Makes no sense thematically, but doesn't mean it's not a good combo that works.
