Actually, while I'm not big on reading deeply into the flavor stuff, the sith rule of two might come into play. If so, we could probably assume some strong roles on that side, as well as at least one, possibly two others with non-town aligned victory conditions.

Or not. Again, I'm not a fan of reading deeply into fluff, but maybe in this case we should hold this in the back of our minds.

Quite right.

After much thought, I think I would vote for Padawan Gink if there weren't three votes for him already. As we get closer to night, I may have to just do that.

If you want to vote me then have the balls to do it

Hmm...more anger.

##vote Ginkapo

Still no defense. Starting to wonder if ginks win condition is to be hammered.

Although I suppose he's still three votes out from an actual hammer.

Which is dangerous math when you look at the number of folks that haven't been contributing. I am thinking we will have a non-vote just because there won't be enough votes for a hammer.

And, let me be clear. I am not calling for a hammer. I am just concerned about not having the "township" to assert action if need be. This plays into the hands of scum.

First 24 hours have a tendency to be slow. People driving the conversation have a habit of getting murdered. Which is problematic, because we need everyone chatting it up now the most. I do think last nights FAQ had something to do with it tho.

B******* excuse. Stop making your error worse. Plus there can only be two, Sith Lord and his apprentice so using the term Sith Mafia is just silly.

But they are Sith acolytes which I am highly assuming are like the ones presented in the Aftermath books, who were adorers of the dark side and seeked lightsabers and artifacts that belonged to sith in the past, so since they are a big group of children by the time the last remnants of the empire fell in Jakku, there is no impossibility that there are 3 dark side padawans

So. . . the Knights of Ren? I haven't read the Aftermath books. Are the two ideas similar?

Kind of. The Acolytes were an inssurgent group led by a man who was an advisor to Palpatine (Will look up the name when I get home) and basically they went around the galaxy searching for sith artifacts and lightsabers. The group from the books had many dark side objects, even Darth Vader's lightsaber and a mask (which everyone hopes to be Revan's) and the last time we see them they overrun(more of a massacre) a New Republic outpost in a jungle planet.

Also, I was thinking on this, maybe the we have an undercover Kylo Ren in the padawans, just like Kallus was in the Lothal, due to the time era we are in, we may well have the Knights of Ren massacre on the academy, so again, likely more than 2

Sorry guys, like last game, I'm not going to be able to be quite as active. Lots of stuff going on for me IRL.

Currently, I still think GNiPs was a little suspicious, and like Biggs mentioned he did back off of his votes in a hurry. His defense is plausible, but still feels a little off.

Gink is up to his usual antics, but no defense is interesting. Not sure if we can really use his aggression as a confirmation of being scum, since although theme lines up, I feel like that's probably more just Gink's playstyle.

Visovics feels pretty confident in some of his assumptions; almost like he knows something we don't. Scum slip up?

Yupe Tashu!

and they attack an outpost in Devaron, while other attacks happen simultaneously accross the galaxy from other Acolyte groups

Re: Visovics- I thought so too, but I re-read the initial post and towards the middle it mentions dark-side acolytes. I thought for a good minute we had a scum tell using terminology he shouldn't know. Was super excited. It doesn't mention Sith Acolytes, which is the exact terminology Vis used...but I mean, we're all star wars nerds and thats a pretty interchangable bit of jargon. He's on my radar now, but not a big time alarm.

Re: Ginkapo- He plays aggressive town. For all I know he plays aggressive scum too. I'm pretty sure he plays an aggressive "guy out for a morning stroll and a cup of tea". I repeat that I am starting to wonder if his win condition is to get the town to lynch him, as he has proferred no defense, but also he may just feel he doesn't need to yet, as simply saying "no I'm town" isn't super convincing anyway.

I'm gonna take a longer look at Slippy Nippy's posts.

I did say I'd take every possible opportunity to say the words Sith Acolyte before the game began, so I may have ended up using that too much, it's because in real life, I am a sworn dark-side person, so this kind of topic for a game js really exciting and I get carried on. Also, if only the term Acolyte is used, than it is VERY likely that they are the Aftermath group

So is this an admission? If so you'll receive a painless lynching. It'll be over very quickly.

That was before roles came around... and lynching is never painless!

While I agree with you and Mads on this, I'm definitely troubled by the amount of aggression and then zero defense.

Why exactly do people want me to defend myself at this point? How does that benefit town?

ok, An introduction to the joke vote phase.

Everyone needs to start throwing votes around for "reasons". By doing this it starts to naturally build pressure in the game and gives us talking points.

Well if we dont expect people to defend themselves at some point we arent exactly learning anything by applying lynch pressure. Just taking a shot in the dark.

Have we reached that point?

you are at risk of being turbo lynched, so kind of. Also, that point can't be with few hours to go, as some players wouldn't be on (Like JJ or other americans) or people who end up not being able to log on because of work or real life stuff. But if you feel you don't need a defense, you can decide at what point the Point is, you are the one who will do the defense, so your choice if you want to defend now or not

No i am not. At the moment to turbolynch me all of the suspected three scum need to vote.

And if they do we win as they will have shown their hand.

They can very well engage in a conversation in forum about suspicions on you and proceed to vote on you in a relatively close time. Of course they will all be suspects, but if we win or not depends on how well they can deflect attention
