I can't recall where, but I remember posting that I thought Season 1 was......OK. I didn't get why everyone was liking The Expanse so much. Well, I saw Season 2. IT'S FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!!! It's much better than Season 1. I totally see it now.

i saw it on my "you might like" Netflix list last night, still not got around to watching it yet as it doesn't interest my wife and my sister is currently staying with us.

Given all the praise i may kick her out the front room for a bit to stick it on!

Nope, but I like seeing the movie/tv before most books so I'm not disappointed.

Almost finished with Cibola Burn (as I mentioned in the "I'm not sayin' this is aliens" thread, wherein Taste said that some find it the weakest in the series; other than somewhat uneven pacing, my only complaint has been that it's positively rife with typos, including an incorrectly gendered pronoun and a misspelling of a background character's name), and yesterday I got to binge 3 episodes from season 1, so I'm now on episode 6! (Hurrah for holding a fussy newborn who won't lay down in her bassinet and I can't do much else while her big sister takes her nap as Mom's out of the house for some R&R!)

Just gettin' my literary sci-fi/fantasy fix while I await for winter to come... *twitch*
