Found some awesome 2d terrain for my battlefield

By kuffdaddy, in Runewars Miniatures Game

I just got my second core box and have been enjoying the game. I have found some wonderful 2d terrain. The website is broken egg games under the terrain. I have woods crystal pond barricades and other stuff. Some of it is pricy but the convenience and portability made it worth while

Link or something? as is now, there's not much to discuss here :)

If you want a look just type broken egg games in your browser, however, my comments are: A little pricey? I'd use the word extortionate myself!

It's nice but it's 2d for the price of 3d

Like I said pricey, but easy to store an transport

if you want new fancy 2D terrain just cut out some Cork plates in the desired shape, print off an image onto cardstock, and elmer's glue it on.

Pennies in comparison. Yeah its not super super rigid, big deal it was pennies.

yeah... let me know when you find great Runewars specific 3d terrain. That I'll buy. I'd rather paint figures in my spare time, so I'll happily pay a terrain craftsman for his.

If you use adhesive backed Vinyl Floor Tile (also known as "VCT" Vinyl Composite Tile) you get a bit more rigidity and durability and the adhesive is already present. Super cheap too. If you buy the thin ones, each tile is less than 40 cents.

is this what you used as the base of your terrain from your blog?

what is this blog of which you speak? Link?

Yep. I used it as the bases for the forest, ruins, and spikes. If you buy thin ones you can cut it with Scissors! I still had to use glue for the ballast even though they do have adhesive on them.

The foam rubber hills don't need bases.
