On the boat - Stormdorf

By sinister6, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Just saw that this product is no longer at the printer! Wooot.

Do you mean Gathering Storm?

Sweeeeeeet...that's good to see. Once a product hits Available Soon status, what's the typical wait? I'm very excited to see this product and what the in house folks have up their sleeves for incorporating some of the ambiguous aspects of the ruleset, like the progress tracker. Looking forward to it!

well with the dice package wasn't it a few weeks from being shipped to actually being available via online?

Soooo looking forward to this release. It's typically 6 weeks from the update to arriving at FFG, and then another 4-8 business days for the product to arrive in stores (depending on location).

yeah, mid march I'll bet.

Taking into consideration, when dice packs will be available at my FLGS, and how much delay they usually have where I live, I would say no sooner than end of march, start of april in some European countries, or even later if they would ship in waves, and get out of stock as they did before.

But thats the problem in living on the other side of the planet.

Waiting, waiting, waiting... grrrrr...

Depend on the mode of transit, assume the product was printed in China. Typical transit time from Shanghai to Long Beach, CA is about 2 - 3 weeks. Due to there is a shortage of ocean container in China currently, the shipment maybe take longer to transit. Once the shipment arrived in US, it will be subject to US Customs clearance and examination which happen very frequently these days (US customs like play with they fancy x-ray these days and make importer to pay for exam charges). There is also transit time from port to Minneapolis as well, which take another 10 days.

I guess all I wanted to say is there are a lot variables in transportation business.

sweet good news.

I have allready ordered "gathering storm" and the GM toolkit.

come sweet april. come my precious campaign

Good gaming

I just wanted to come back and add that I don't think I've been anxiously awaiting a prefab adventure/campaign this much since...maybe ever. And I'm probably an old man, comparatively speaking, around here! Yeah, can't wait...

I'm with you on this one.

(And you can't possibly be older than me).

Hey, I'm youthfully challenged myself. The last time I was this jazzed about a campaign was for the original The Enemy Within release!

Same here. The last time I was really on the edge of my seat, anticipating a PnP module release was for Power Behind the Throne. Playing WFRP and particularly The Enemy Within Campaign brings back a lot of very old memories.

This new incarnation of WFRP has really re-ignited my passion for GMing an RPG, writing material, etc. It really brings me back to my childhood/teen roots of playing RPGs with friends.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.... I am with you one hundred percent. I am so stoked about any new product for this game. Warhammer Fantasy RPG was my longest running game and the one that has instilled the most enjoyment out of the participants. They loved that game so much they still talk about it regularly even though its been 15 years ago!!

Until now no other game has got me this excited.
