Hi!

I have not been able to find any decent reviews of the grassy field playmat. Since it's quite costly (as you need 2), I would really appreciate some comments or reviews (youtube reviews would be golden) from users that have tested them. I am for example very interested in how well units traversing between 2 playmats work, are the corners so rounded that issues occur in the center bottom/top when using 2, how is the durability, and whatnot. Thanks!

FFG s matts are excellent, I have had no issues with joins on my space ones (also 2 matts, Armada).

I haven't purchased the RW mat yet, but I love the space ones for Armada and Xwing. Two of them go together well and the gripping underside keep them from splitting apart and leaving a gap as the game goes on.

If you don't mind the fact that they are 3x3 and you need two they are awesome, and the movement trays GLIDE along them...

I played a game on my Bespin mat upside-down. The grip kept the terrain in place so they didn't slide around, and because I haven't based my trays, they blended in with the background and all I saw were the units marching along.

I agree with what others have said here. They work very well for the game.

In general they are a fantastic mid range cost option. they stand up to wear and tear really well and are a great playing surface for the money.

My only nit is that I would like a 3x6 option.

Yeah i just went and got a 3x6 mat elsewhere because i wanted a single mat.

I have 2 3x3s for Armada that were a pair but not joined. Considering i use those for xwing too im fine with it, but laying 2 3x3 mats side by side is annoying to me (and as one gets used far more than the other its been stretched slightly. Made of the same mousepad material FFG uses)

They're legit and seem identical to the x wing mats except for graphics. Negatives would be no 6x3 size option and they are very slippery. Not as big of a deal with RW actually but I often find them annoying when playing x wing.

I own two of them as well as two for x-wing. Great matts good quality. 3by3 is ok since i set up two demo games a week also.
