Welp, the Scurrg is up- and I bet you're all expecting me to rant and rave about how this game is just Scumwing, and how bad Imps are after being continually ignored/hard countered with all these releases. NOPE.

I'm honestly done trying to influence the game's trajectory. I'm gonna fly casual, keep playing X-Wing with friends only- and I'm never playing in another competitive event again, nor posting on these forums again. To all the people who shouted me down or insulted me due to my criticisms, you win, congratulations, one fewer dissenting voice achieved! To those Imps who choose to keep playing in competitive, good luck to you, I wish you the best.

Instead, I offer up this bit of positivity for Imp players- we have the style, we have the mojo, even if our ships aren't a match for Scum/Rebels. At least in the current meta, when you win with Imperials, you'll know you EARNED your victory.

Have you even tried Vess/QD/OL (@stayontheleader), or Vess/QD/Backdraft? What about RAC-Draft, or RAC-Draw, or RAC-Defender?

By the way, you saying you won't rant about scumwing is just the same as you ranting about scumwing.

I like all opinions, especially ones that have logic and stats to support.

You have and do hold the Imperial banner in a very dark time, but I wouldn't abandon the competitive ship just yet. True the newest wave gives us older Rebel ability cast offs, but, the long awaited second part to the Great Nerfing will drop in the coming weeks, relegating Jumpmasters, Attani, Sabine and Biggs to a little less than A lists they now dominate. I know it be true. Here's the truth: in end, no matter the bent or delay of the designers, a heathy, money making game is the absolute goal for FFG. They're going to fix it. Wait, quietly if you must, but wait.....the storm is coming to bring the true balance hammer on the other two factions. King Scum will fall in a storm of logic that will silence all laments of their criminals. The Rebels will once again, err, um, will for once have to man up fly their ships mono-a-mono into battle. It will be a grand day......just wait.

Just wanted to say that if you have criticisms about this game you can still get it off your chest on the forum Johen, don't let people get you down. I disagree with on alot of your opinions, but you know what? It doesn't matter if I disagree with you or not. Your opinion is just has worthy of being posted as mine is. Don't let people get you down, to me, this forum is for fun and entertainment so post what makes you happy man. Also hang in there with imps! I know they seem to be ignored a bit right now, but I will say with utmost confidence something will be coming to make imp fans happy again!

I even have my friend @heychadwick with the same thoughts, the rest of the balance is coming, it just took more playtesting. I have other sources too, but I swore over a pint --a very good, dark one mind you-- not to say anything pre FAQ.

All the whining is so toxic, it's just depressing to think of how much hours and hours go into rage, whine and nerfposts over a game with plastic spaceships. Yes, the balance isn't perfect, but you're playing this game to have fun. So have fun! Stop whining. FFG will issue a fix in due time, but things have to be playtested in order to do so. So be patient, and don't forget to have fun!

Im assuming you live near/play with some of the uk playtesters. It's got to be uk because you said "pint". If so; you'll also be aware that many of them reported the jumps over capability back to ffg only to be ignored. Still; you've got my curiosity piqued about a new nerfing. Imho; not at all necessary but it'll be interesting to see what spawns from it...

FFG doesn't ignore exactly, they kinda more choose to, "look the other way"....as they listen and know.

Yes, all the Imperial ships with shields are doing well........
