Canon source for Talonbane Cobra, anyone?

@Hawkstrike Well, the cartoon show is from Lucasfilm Animation and it's added content to the new movies, so it's creating "canon" content.

Which episode is Talonbane Cobra in again? Or maybe Lt Kestal. I'll wait while you look it up.

Talonbane Cobra is from Star Wars: Galaxies. He was a pilot for Black Sun who was killed at the Battle of Tansarii Point Station.

Havnt seen the show much but Sabine probably has more screen time than all of the movie main characters combined.

How does Boba Fett make a list of main characters? Iconic, maybe, but he's a glorified extra. The EU inflated Boba Fett. Meanwhile R2-D2, C-3PO and Lando are for some reason missing from the list.

The cult of Boba Fett must be exponged from the earth. At least the new canon has errata'ed him to actually die when the Sarlaac eats him and Jabba's bloated carcass and hundreds of tons of molten metal then falls on him.

Besides, as the numbers show, there's a new Mandolorian-armor-wearing bounty hunter in town now!

Actually Disney has stated that he did indeed survive his trip down the Sarlaac's throat, they just haven't retold the story how it "actually" happened yet. Probably saving it for the rumored Boba Fett stand alone film.

Keep in mind these are the same people that resurrected Darth Maul. So yeah, anything is possible.

Exactly. That's a great point. If being cut in half and falling into a bottom less pit doesn't kill a villain, then falling into a monsters mouth definitely won't kill a bad guy. Especially a bad guy that has a huge cult following. Disney will be printing money by making a Boba Fett movie/show.

There is enough space to make money with him between TCW and RotJ, they do not need to rez him for that. If he survives the Sarlacc in this canon, it will be because of nostalgia for the old one and because it creates an interesting perspective where one of the (supposedly) most powerful characters in the galaxy is left absolutely helpless. That aspect along with (some of) the flashbacks was what was enjoyable about the bounty hunter wars trilogy.

This one did bug the hell out of me when it first came out. He's a random NPC boss who got no backstory and is killed by you (the player) when you are, essentially, a Tansarii Point Veteran pilot, in his first and only appearance.

And this guy was decided to be a better pilot than Boba Fett, Wes Janson, Turr Phennir, Luke Skywalker. You name it.

I was hoping, when I first saw the expansion, that I was going to find a character in the Tales of The Bounty Hunters, or similar, which I hadn't read much of, who was essentially a merc version of Wedge or Soontir, with lots of backstory and interesting character.

If Talonbane had been PS8, I don't think I'd have minded; there are enough "who the hell are they" pilots at PS8.

Dengar being PS9, I don't mind. He's correlian (as all other non-force-sensitive PS9 pilots were). Poe is Wedge MkII, so again, fair enough. Fenn Rau gets a fair amount of screen time, and in his first appearance seemingly effortlessly kicks the snot out of two of the main characters in Rebels, including Hera, who's main skill is supposed to be 'the pilot'.

Was about to say this, and glad someone got there before me.

From what I can tell, Boba Fett has 1 card for every 2 minutes of screen time in the OT, though his prequel and Clone Wars appearances dilute that a bit.

Speaking of main characters:

Padme: 0

Doctor Aphra: 0

Thrawn: 0

Mon Mothma: 0

And how does Ahsoka have only 1 card?!

Considering how many xwing memes use his quotes, viceroy nute gunray really needs to be in the game.

Next Expansion, the Sabine Rebels with Sabine's X-Wing and Sabine's A-wing, both with Sabine as a pilot and the Sabine's Modification card.

Joking Aside, Sabine is the only character that has her name on a whole expansion pack even if it is a glorified repaint.
