Multiple Attacks

By Dlogue, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Hi everyone

I know everyone is only allowed 1 attack activation a turn, but what about characters with special activation abilities, like Verena or Vinto? It says "tap- perform 2 attacks" or "tap- close quarters...". Therefore Vinto could make 3 attacks a turn if he doesn't move.

So can you do these single activation special attacks and then your normal attack?

A non-hero (everyone in skirmish) can only perform one action during their activation that contains one or more attacks.

A special action is also an action, so Vinto cannot perform a normal Attack action and Rapid Fire during the same activation, because both actions would contain performing at least one attack.

Note: "tap" usually means exhaust, and special actions do not require to exhaust cards.

Assault removes the one-action-containing-attacks-per-activation restriction.

Actions that cause a target to suffer damage like Force Choke, Flamethrower, and Indiscriminate fire are not attacks, so they do not count towards the attack limit of non-heroes.

In the campaign, heroes does not have this restriction.

Does Single Purpose allow you to use a special action that contains an attack twice, for instance BT-1's missile salvo?

No. It doesn't override that rule because it doesn't say anything about it.

Cool that's how I understood it too, but wanted to clarify.
