Thrawn arrives to Destiny before Armada
Acknowledge and be happy in the fact that Destiny is Destined to Burn through Heros, Villains and Iconic Characters very quickly , and indeed, will be endlessly recycling them due to their expiring production wave collectable model, whereas Armada is (always, it seems) on the slow grow development boat.
Nooooo
First the empire needs a good ship to introduce him with like a new ISD. You would not want to see him come into the game on something like a Raider.
Always possible we might see a repaint ISD introducing Thrawn much like an ace pack in X-Wing
Is Thrawn in X-Wing?

No was just referencing the ace packs they do in xwing which are repaints of ships already in the game with new cards
That's cool. I'm totally with @Drasnighta on this. I think Destiny needs to burn hot and fast. Lots of char. Primal stuff.
Armada is like a simmer. Sometimes we have to check that the stove is still on, but it is, and in the end the result is SO good.
What are we going to do?
We're going to do what an internet forum is supposed to do. We are going to whine and complain, and take it as evidence that FFG (and the world in general) loves Destiny more that it loves us. This gives us what we really crave; a delicious sense of righteous indignation. We are clearly superior, because we know how to suffer, whereas the Destiny (and X-Wing, and Runewars, and etc.) people have it easy. Toys were just given to them, while we have to scrape, toil, sweat, and wait for our product to come off the slow boat from China. Also, our game is better. If it were not better, we would not be playing it, and because we are better, it's clear that we are playing the better game. Because we are playing the better game, we actually deserve to have our product arrive sooner, but because the world is unjust, we are unfairly disadvantaged. In the meantime, our righteous indignation may turn into righteous nerdRAAAGGGE! , which we shall harness to create another thread to bellyache about all of the above.
Does that about cover it?
P.S. Armada is dead.
P.P.S. AdmiralNelson told us so.

I would be ok with him being released with the Dreadnaught.

Armada could really use to be 3 waves a year, not 2. That would help lulls a bit.
He was in the LCG first. Not surprised he made it to another collectible game before Armada.
Plus we get to see some excellent artwork

How about they just hit the announced release date with the 2 waves they do? If they can't get two waves out a year in a reasonable fashion, then three would be an absolute train wreck.

Goes without saying, but overall this one does drag a lot towards the end regardless. When itnseems quite likely problem that needs correction, some communication can't hurt either ?
Competitive games of this nature live and die on an expansion basis.

Bringing your Calvinist ways even to the forums, eh? I don't think the Emperor would approve.

Are you kidding me?? The Emperor is a great Calvinist!
He's got the wealth of the galaxy at his disposal, yet he wears rough black robes, and talks about destiny.

I didn't know he was a Destiny fan. Do you think he's his own favorite character, or would he like somebody else's ability better?

It's mainly a dice game, right? Considering what his crew card can do in X-Wing, I imagine that he's pretty good at it.
