Are we able to use the Ketsu Onyo Crew card to occupy the crew slot on the Ketsu Onyo Ship?

Nope, as they both share the same name and both are marked with the dot denoting Unique. Its the same sort of thing that keeps you from using, for example, Luke Skywalker as a pilot in his X-Wing, and then the Luke Skywalker crew in a different ship.

Ketsu Onyo can pilot the ship or crew the ship, not both.

"Unique Names" is on page 19 of the Rules Reference.
