Ah! Found the thread. I posted in one of your cross-posts, @EE-z98 , but I'll post here too. I'm setting a short campaign, Fridays 6-9pm, Oct 6-Dec 8. Lemme know if that works for you guys!

sounds great. Fridays will work.

Where at?

And if you could give me an idea what kind of game you will be running. Myself and my son use OggDude's Character generator to make and store characters.

After getting an idea about what kind of game we will craft characters to fit in. If you want we can forward pdf copies of what we make before the game for you to take a look at.

If you already have an idea of what kind of characters you'd like to play, sure thing, you can send them along! I'll PM you.

My plan is to have a session 0, where we build our characters as a group, and talk about what kind of game we'd all be interested in playing. My only constant is "heroism in the face of overwhelming opposition," and I keep a PG/PG-13 tone for pretty much all my games. In other words, we're playing Star Wars :)

I lean towards an episodic feel, but am totally open to a sandbox or something with a more linear story. We'll hash out theme, setting, era, Motivations, and such in our session 0. If you have any preferences, let me know! If you're the type that's just happy to fit in, that's cool too. And like I said, feel free to send along any thoughts as to the kind of characters that you'd like to play. Preliminary thoughts like these are super helpful when forming a group.

Lastly, regarding characters, I always have pregens with me, so as to encourage people to jump in and play. Players are always free to use these for inspiration for their own characters, or just to grab them and play them if they fit well with the kind of character they wanted to play.

As to the location, I'm thinking we can initially try out a game store location, like the Game Matrix, or Northwest Sports Cards on 6th Ave, or Uncle's Games at the mall. This can be altered if need be.
