My son and I just moved back to Washington and have been looking for a regular game.

Something in Tacoma or in the local area.

There is a new thread in the Age of Rebellion forum with people from the Seattle metro area.

I'm in Tacoma! Currently have a packed out game, 8+ players, but hoping to start up a new smaller game sometime around October.

I'll try and keep you updated in case anything opens up in the near future!

i heard there was a game going at Game Matrix a local game store not too far from where my son and I live.

still looking for a game around Tacoma WA running this summer. I can GM if I have too. Been doing it for the last few years. I have to admit I would love to just be able to be a player again. hehe

I'll be driving through Tacoma on Friday, does that count? Alas it's just to cross the Narrows Bridge to pick my daughter up from camp in Port Orchard, then back to Seattle.

This has been my only complaint since come back to WA from the dreaded East Coast. You end up stationed there in the Coast Guard and it is sometimes hard to get out... Tacoma is too far to drive for a regular Seattle game. Oh well right now it just myself and my son playing. Still fun but I would kill to be just a player again. To be surprised by the odd turns of a game. I miss that part. GM's can still be surprised but it is a different kind of surprise. I always loved the look on my GM's face when a group I was apart of did something totally unexpected. Pay off the Black Suns, carve a Black Suns symbol on a severed head, save the Chancellor from assassination...

I hear that. To this day one of my fondest moments was GMing an old d6 Star Wars game and having the characters declare "We want to run for office."

Take all my carefully crafted game notes, dump in garbage, go from there.

My favorite was a dark side game using SAGA. I was playing a Mando working for dark side brothers. Things didn't end well, when the game abruptly ended we had murdered a PC and was in the process of killing two others. The group kind of blew up after that but man was being bad fun. PC vs PC didn't end well for the group.

The darksider's almost killed me for being to bloodthirsty. I deceived my way into a police station playing the drunk. While they weren't looking I threw up and rolled a thermal detonator under a desk. Carnage ensued and with no proof I did anything but drunken disorderly they threw me in jail.

My employers gave me a choice follow orders without my own interpretation or Force lightning.

I fell in line...for the most part.

I have ran a lot of game like that. Been in a good number too.

Hey all looking for a game around Tacoma WA for myself and my son this summer. I would love to join a game looking for players but am an experienced GM if needed.

Still interested. It maybe just myself due to my son being in school. Mostly would depend on day and time.

What days/times are better for you in general?

I am in College during the week till afternoon. Free weekends. I can do pretty much any day. My son would available weekends and maybe weekdays after school (after 4).

If this doesn't work let me know. As I said I am open to most days after 2pm.

I am also up for GM'ing. Been doing it for the last few years with my son.

I have to be honest I have been kind of hoping to just be a player again.

man... we were playing at home yesterday. Stealing the Jewel of Yavin to make money to support the Defiant Core Base.

Awesome!

It's all good. We had a good wrap up of a several week mini campaign.

I haven't nailed down the dates for fall yet, still waiting to hear from my other players on their schedules.
