You still get things that trigger on claiming, but do you take initiative back from your opponent for next turn?

"Initiative" isn't really a real concept in Destiny. When you start a new round, whichever player controls the battlefield takes the first action. That's it - doesn't matter how they got it (claim, Day is Ours, Lockdown, etc) or how many times it might have switched control before that point. Whoever controls it goes first.

Nice explanation!

i think Mace looks awesome. hopefully the new set has the cards to support him. a mono blue set with just eMace (like palp) would be very cool to play. probably wont be viable, but its nice to dream.

Why Mace alone? He's just 22, that leaves you with 8 points to use on another character! (Unless your playing handicap game)

Also, we might se dices with greater cost than one with (Probably) higher numbers than what we are used to:

Increase by ressource cost, probably meaning cost 2 or even cost 3 sides! (Maybe 5 damage printed on a die!?!)

I wrote about it on my site already - i suspect the same. But i don't think it will be damage sides - more like pay2-discard4 , or even payed resources sides - invest 1 to get 2 or even 3.

Sorry then! Did'nt mean to steal idea!

You could run Mace with a padawan or Maz :)

Yeah, discounting more new character combos we haven't seen yet, if you can get eMace to work those are likely the best to options.
