I'm hoping they release a deck of cards that covers gear/items/weapons/armor/attachments...

I've never played other RPGs, but did D&D ever create such a thing? or would that cut into sales of the books?

I would so spend a lot of money to buy these if they made them. I've seen some nice custom made ones from other people before. I want them to take my money, but I can't do that if they don't actually make it.

If I remember correctly, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons had gear cards for core rulebook items. I think I had a shoebox full of them.

I would actually prefer ship cards (I just made a bunch for myself) but gear cards would be nice too. Pathfinder released a playing card deck of condensed rules so I can't imagine it would cut into book sales.

Yeah, I'd love an official set of gear cards and ship cards for this system. They would be WAY more useful than the critical injury and critical damage decks.

I would pay a stupid amount of money for ship cards to do quick throw together space encounters.
