X-Wing Ground Assualt (X-Wing 2.0)

Ever since I saw the fake X-Wing 2nd Edition by Crabbok, I fell in love with the idea of having AT-ATs and airspeeders with the X-Wing rules. Maybe there would be a conversion kit to convert all of the current ships into this future game, although I don't think FFG would risk having everyone not be able to use their giant collections. However, FFG could make a boatload of money with Cloud Cars and AT-AAs and whatnot. Thoughts?

I don't see why a second edtion of the game would be necessary for ground and atmospheric vehicles. This type of gameplay could he accomplished with an alternate format like Epic. Some of the atmospheric vehicles like Cloud cars and T-47's would even be acceptable in standard play.

The two big issues I see are elevation and speed. Even the fastest walkers are slow compared to fighters amd speeders. Most ground vehicles don't have surface-to-air weapons. An AT-AT would probably require special maneuvering and attacking rules.

Personally, I printed everything for it, but I've tried reading the rules but am very much a visual learner and the creator changed a lot of things and reworded some things too. Which they do make sense thematically, but I just need to actually sit down and play it to get the rules down.
