They have been giving this out as a promo. Super cool. Also shows a Tie Interceptor symbol in the bottom corner so this must be coming next wave. I think she will mark the official end of 3 charecter decks. Also makes Luke and Jyn obviously bad. Her die is definitely better, and her abilities. Giving out less than 5 at one event with no dice is nothing to post about. She will not see play until EaW prerelease somewhere in the September-November area.

What do you mean by the end of the 3 character decks? Nothing will end 3 character decks.

but i would'nt worry. We will see either (Either, lol) support or character with text like this:
"If this character would be dealt damage that would also damage another of your character, substract 1 from it."

3-character deck, in my opinion, is already mostly done. It's not necessarily due to Thermal Detonators (which, by the way, are worse with Poe than Sabine) but the action inefficiency. Two characters (or one - stinkin Palp...), especially Rey, are just more efficient. Most good decks (Poe/Maz, Kylo/Vader, Rey/Han, etc.) are two characters, both elite. I don't think that's gonna change in the near future.
Except that a 3 character deck won the EU championship. Other than that.....
Yeah, every meta is different. Well-built decks can win in almost all shapes and sizes, two characters is just easier to build. The local tournament in my town was just won by a four-character deck (due to Endless Ranks)!
While there is a lot to be said for the value of speed, not every game comes down to who can get more actions in before the other. The game already has lots of ways to build up counters to speed, and even a slow deck can take a quick turn when necessary.
Who knows, maybe more cards like Sabine will make Lightsaber Pike useful?
I didn't notice her collector information before. Is 40 accurate? That's early for a yellow hero character, based on the last two sets.

Good catch! Looks like there's only seven dice cards per faction this time around. Probably still four characters but only three supports/upgrades... Does this mean there'll only be 140 cards in the set?

And taking nothing away from the skill of the deck's pilot... But he also only played 3 Poe/Maz in the entirety of the Swiss rounds and went 1-2 against it. So it was both of his losses in the 10 rounds at 8-2.
In the top 8 there were three Poe/Maz decks, and he didn't end up having to play against a single one of them. It's not insignificant, and people trying to peg the Unkar/FN/Trooper deck as a Poe/Maz beater are generally unaware of the circumstances that put him in position to win the event.
I have to totally disagree with Sabine making Luke obviously bad (I can't speak on jyn cause I don't play with her). Melee damage is amazing with vibroknife. I think that's a big advantage and I think card draw has been completely under valued in this game. Sabine will be good but I'd gladly run elite Luke against an elite Sabine deck.
Yes, range damage still has no "vibroknife" and is now susceptible to personal shield and still eats deflect. Melee seems to be getting stronger with all the range hate

I understand WHY character cards are being given out as promos (FFG's crappy in-house printer makes them impossible to mix into a deck unless sleeved) but not including a die with that promo card just sucks. It's a new toy you can't play with.

You could do a quick proxy with Luke dice. Pretend the Melee is Ranged and the focus is the 3 Disrupt (and the color is yellow) and you're good.
