Noob Questions

By Drothar, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

A couple of quick questions from a new player:

if use something like Gideon to give a figure extra movement. Can they use that movement right away or do they have to wait to use it on their activation?

How do you control an objective in skirmish? Is it by interacting with it? Or just being the closest one to it?

thanks.

Any movement gained out of a units own activation(i.e. Gideon or Imperial Officer) must be spent immediately as an interrupt and can not be saved.

To control an objective you have to only friendly figures on or adjacent to it. If both players have figures on or adjacent to the objective then it is considered contested. If no one has any units on or adjacent to the objective then no one has control over it.

Adding to the above post, a terminal/objective is considered contested if each player has at least one figure adjacent to it. For example, if I had one Stormtrooper next to an objective and you had two Rebels next to it, the objective would still be contested even though you have more figures.

Thanks for the quick replies!
