Claiming a power role is a long established traitor move used to delay death through the lure of a potentially useful role. See why we spared Norell.

As for why you'd claim one after such a time that'd be close to unbelievable? That's the main reason we tentatively believe you now. It'd be foolish to do so if it wasn't true. Though I feel compelled to point out that it'd be a decent piece of double-bluffing:

'It'd be stupid to claim a power role when others have already claimed something similar!'

Anyways, that's why I'm both suspicious of you and tentatively trusting you. Right now I'd be more inclined to either vote Norell or Onidsen. But if Norell's innocent, then I kinda think you're next, as two almost-identical roles are a bit redundant (see my post above) when paired with a cop.

Okay, I'm ready to go with those on the side of lynching @Norell .

I'll appease my own doubts that he voted for Biggs. Biggs was a traitor. Maybe Biggs was the spy (that role Truthiness posted the Mafia link to.) and didn't have any connection to the other scum.

Another thing to consider is that with JJ, we already had a cop, so out of a tracker and a watcher, which would be more redundant? The tracker tracks somebody's actions, the watcher sees who visited somebody. If we have a cop, who checks somebody's alignment, then do we need to check who followed/visited somebody? In previous games we have had 2 of those 3 roles. If JJ could see what people are, and a tracker sees what they do, and a watcher sees who they did it to, then which two go best together? Seeing what someone is and where they went, what someone is and who they did there action at, seeing where someone went and who they did it to?

I think the cop makes both other roles somewhat redundant, but the watcher is the weakest of the other two roles.

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Also, I see why Oni would be the safe bet, if Cninja isn't lying we'd lose a valuable role now that we have no cop and would leave us with a watcher, we need to truly hope there are no more than 1 scum left in game

@GhostofNobodyInParticular I won't blame you for that. Truthiness put you in a bad place. However he was in a bad place too. If he votes Onidsen he put him at h-1.

As I've said, I'm shiftable. If we're that nervous about hammering Norell, I'll move over to be the hammer. I'm becoming more convinced of Oni's innocence, but even he admits he is the safer choice of the two as a vanilla townie. The large number of power role claims is what has me so locked in on Norell. Ninja's claim may have been taken from my post, but at least it's consistent. Norell's can't be confirmed and it took an awful long time for him to tell us what he did.

Sigh. I really don't like this. I am suspicious of both, but Onidsen is safer. . . still, he does look set up. So:

If we lynch Onidsen we will have 3 suspects at D3 (Truhiness, Norell, CNinja) and if the first case is not the best, this is even worse!

Hopefully we get the scum left but I cannot avoid the fact that Onidsen could be playing us and we are going to start a chain of townie deaths. But this would mean 4 roles!!

I hate you all! This is hard.

However if we lynch Onidsen and he is townie, I don't see how we are going to win with a doc with a 50% chance of saving the bad guy while the others die; a watcher who doesn't know how its role works; and a tracker that could being redirected by the false doc.
