Reclaimed crystals

By TheShard, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

In DoH, they mentioned reclaiming corrupted crystals, what color would they be? Or would they stay red? Any specific attributes?

Based upon the Asoka book, they seem to turn white.

Whatever color the player wants them to be.

Ahsoka's turned white as she didn't have any particular allegiance with regards to the Jedi or the Sith, and so could be considered a neutral party at that moment in time.

But nothing in the crystal's game mechanics is stopping the player from having their reclaimed crystal provide a blue, green, yellow, or whatever other color they want.

I thought that purple, blue, green, and yellow were the limits with Jedi

And o thought with the last 3 class determined color

See KOTOR crystal receiving for more on that one

If your player has no specific preferences, roll a random color for em. Lightsabers come in any sort of color according to the EU, the only real exception being black.

I'd just do grab-bag style: put a number of colored objects in a bag, and have the player reach in. Whatever color they pull, that's their crystal.

Oh I'd definitely do that if I were playing in person, sounds like a lot of fun. Sadly I'm stuck with roll20 campaigns only.

KOTOR is now a "legends" story, meaning that it's not considered part of the official canon. That said, even it if were canon, you could hand wave that stuff away by saying that KOTOR takes place millennia ago, and things have changed since then. At any rate, SWTOR made lightsaber crystals for every color of the rainbow, so there's legends material to support whatever approach a group wants to go with.
