Favorite target?

Porkins. A guy I play vs regularly was always talking about bringing Porkins. Last store tourney he actually brought him. Took him down in the 2nd round of combat. He got one shot off :)

You're a monster.

Corran Horn. I know he is very beatable, but he gave me the most frustrating loss I ever had where my opponent parked him in front of 2 Ion Warthogs (the accurate ones with Agromech!) and 3 Z-95s, avoiding any meaningful damage or ionization. For several turns. Some of them having him blocked.

Dash. I hate that 4 dice turret that ignores all terrain on top of that. It's especially satisfying if you Boba the HLC, then let it die a slow death by a 1000 cuts

For me it's no special ship, it is the Atanni network. I love to watch how it gradually breaks down and get weaker every time a ship goes

Biggs.

I just can't help myself but shoot him every chance I get.

I also feel like I have to put Biggs here. But I do get a happy dance when Carnor Jax ("CAAAARNOR JAAAAX!") dies. I'm glad I don't see that monster very often anymore.

all the shadowcasters must die.

Omega Leader. Man I hate that ship. I realize that for the past 2.5years, the meta has been 2-3 ships, and his ability is really nerfed in 4-8 ship lists, but man is he annoying for just 26 points. I'm lucky to get one token removed between 4 TLT shots - I can't imagine how anyone else deals with him end game. (obviously the answer is don't get into a 1on1 with him end game, but he's rarely the most threatening target on the board).

Killing anything with tlts makes me feel giddy. (Possible worst use of lowercase TLT in a sentence?)

Most turrets. Especially Dash or TLT carriers (like Miranda).

Fenn Rau and Asajj too.

EDIT: How could I forget? Corran Freaking Horn. Probably the most annoying ship in the game to kill.

I did that to Vader using Roark Garnett, Cracken and Blount with Swarm Tactics. My opponent was running 3 PS 9 Imps. He doesn't play or pay attention to Rebels. First combat round he grabs his red dice and I say no, I shoot first and showed him Roark's card. Cracken is now a 12. Cracken fires cluster missile giving Blount and a Tala actions. (Pre CM nerf). He goes for the reds again but I say "not yet". Then show him the Swarm Tactics. Blount fires Assault Missiles. The scenario above was repeated again with the Tala. One unhappy Imperial player.

He figures to jump Roark ending the PS12 nonsense but Roark is now a 12 thanks to Blount and packing a TLT. Needless to say the game was short. I could almost see steam coming out of his ears! His valued Imperials taken down by a Hawk and 3 x Zs! The call from the Emperor did not go well.

Solid combo. Just remember that Swarm Tactics must be declared at the start of combat, so in a tournament your opponent would be within their rights to call missed opportunity if you don't call it at that time.

Ever meet one of those guys that appears to be running 2x speed constantly? He moved, performed his action and grabbed the reds in what seemed one fluid motion. The after movement, before combat time phase was very short.

I think my favorite has to be killing Dengar with my triple K-Wing list. Seeing Dengar fall to bomb damage without ever getting a single opportunity to use his ability just warms my heart.

Ah, yes. It bugs me when people do that. I'm just sensitive to Swarm Tactics in particular because I was called out on it in a tournament, and it really cut my legs out from under me that round, resulting in a dead ship that didn't get to fire before it kicked the bucket. I definitely appreciate it when players call out the start of the next phase, and I particularly try to make sure we don't miss any start-of-combat abilities.

Now that I think about it I wish the Gunboat was reality so I could shoot them all down!

Tournament Rules:

" Missed Opportunities
... Players are expected to act with respect and not intentionally distract or rush an opponent with the intent of forcing a missed opportunity."

(of course, 'intent' is the key word there - they may be just used to playing a fast game, or be a over-caffeinated squirrel - so you just point it out the first time)

Jumpmasters, how has no one else said jumpmasters?

My list of hate:

Shadowcaster (Doesn't matter which one)

Contracted Scouts

Jumpmasters with Agromech (seriously...wtf)

Miranada

I have never taken down Miranda. I hate her so much. I have defeated the others.

As I mentioned originally, he didn't play Rebels and if you're fielding 3 x PS9 pilots vs a PS8, 6 and 2 x 4s you are inclined to believe you shoot first. I've known this guy for about a year and a half and have never seen him fly Rebels outside of HotAC.

x/7 Defenders, especially pre nerf. They were very popular in my area when released and cause me a fair amount of grief. I had my revenge when Fenn and Old Terroch showed up, the dynamic duo took out many, many Defenders for me.

Also Whisper because I have a buddy who loves Whisper and almost always played Whisper.

Regen Poe and Miranda; back before Jumps these two were insufferable to deal with and were pretty popular.

Dengar. Especially when he hasn't been able to get a revenge shot the whole game.

Ezra

Little cockroach has evaded more of my attacks than any token-stacked Imp Ace.

It's the best when Dengar is desperate enough to take revenge shot after snap shot without mods (or with only TL).

Corran Horn.

Agreed. That jerk and his smug friend Dash thought they were so great.
