Anger Question

By KyloStrawberry, in Star Wars: Destiny

So the card reads "Resolve an opponent's die showing damage as if it were your die"

Palpatine card reads "After you resolve this die, force an opponent to deal 2 damage to their characters, distributed as they wish."

So does that mean if I resolve an opponents Palpatine die showing damage, wouldtwo damage also be distributed to the player using Palpatine?

Thanks for any and all help.

The you in "after you resolve this die" is the owner of the Palpatine card. Since you are not the owner of the Palpatine card, you don't get to use his ability.

In addition, the Palpatine extra damage is a card ability. In this case Anger lets you resolve Palpatine's die, but it does not grant you his card ability as well.

So to bandwagon on this question, can you resolve baby vader's special, dealing three damage to him, and then dealing the extra 1 to him as well?.

Yes. This was discussed with Cunning earlier too. The special is an inherent dice ability, and the three damage can be dealt to any character and the one damage must be dealt to LessCoolEpisode3Vader. Therefore, if you pick him as the recipient of the three damage, the one damage still doesn't care about that and must be dealt to NoArmorHigherPitchedVoiceVader, because it says so on the dice's inherent ability. This is a major weakness of ThinShouldersLongHairVader in my opinion.

Not with Anger, as his special is not a damage side (it does damage of course, but it is not a "die showing damage" per the wording on Anger). But as mentioned above Cunning does do that very nicely!

Yep, this is right. Sorry, didn't read the OP. I was thinking of Sensor Placement

When I resolve the die via Anger, can I also resolve any modified dice in my pool?

Thanks!

No. Anger lets you resolve a dice - that is, it lets you resolve one and only one dice. So any card that lets you resolve one dice won't work with modifiers, however a card that lets you resolve multiple dice can (following all normal rules for resolving dice).

Ok, Thanks!
