Countercharging

By Corrinmana, in Runewars Rules Questions

As far as I can tell, getting charged while having a charge ready means you lose your action that turn. Anybody read it differently?

It is unfortunately true. If I think I'm going to get charged, I try to decide how likely it is. If I'm certain, I'll plan my action accordingly. If in uncertain, I'll try to plan an action that will work either way.

Its really annoying when you know your opponent can charge you faster than you can, but your melee attack is quick enough to go off before the charge.

You cant charge because they will charge first and nullify your charge, but cant preempt a melee attack because it goes off too quick :P

Exactly the situation that File Leader is for. dial in your attack and let your opponent charge you.

Indeed. You do need to make choices.
