Huh, that's weird. I've never experienced that myself and it seems to still work okay at the moment. Might be a browser problem?

With Ackbar? I didn't, haha. I see your point, but let's say we try to put Leia in a list with a large ship. To make a large ship work, you need at least 1 but really 2 flotillas. Having built Ackbar with a large ship and about 50-60 points of fighters, I had room for the Jainas Light and a lightly loaded MC30. 3 ships is the bare minimum I'd be using an Admiral for IMO (Ackbar with 3 flotillas and 2 combat ships seems like I'm overpaying for Ackbar's ability), and while it's not BAD, my current ideas all involve Leia and 6 small ships all ganging up.

As for the liaisons, while they can spend a token to jump a command and then get the dial and token effect, they don't get stronger with Leia I feel. The command is stronger, but the ability to switch commands isn't, and they're offering more flexibility than anything I feel.

Mind you, I'm not dismissing Leia and a Large (this is the world's twee-est indie band) but right now I'm not thinking of building that way. I would be interested in how you're thinking of building Leia if you are going large.

My main issue with Leia and big ships is why not Garm? Garm is cheaper, a lot less restrictive, and unless you're spamming the bejesus out of a command, has no real downside compared to Leia. Plus you can bring officer Leia along to help those big ships out with their command dial stack. Ahsoka is also pretty solid for turning extraneous Garm tokens into a spammable token if you wish.

Leia's effect, especially in light of her restriction, seems to go a lot farther on smaller ships.

I am just musing that there may be other options with Leia beyond small ship spam. (Which i dont get, as when does a corvette need boosted nav, cf or eng?)

Similar can be said of Garm, why take him with a mix of ships? The small ones dont benefit.

Wheras Leia could take defence liason Defiance alongside yav/salvation.

How do you get a 5? Are you putting engineering team on it instead of engine techs?

Still doing it wrong.

Engineering Team adds an Engineering Point , not to the Engineering Value.

So said MC80 would be 4 (Dial) +2 (4/2 for Token) + 1 (Engineering Team) = 7

You will get 8 if Redemption is nearby too.

A corvette has a much larger range of speeds than your 3-speed ships and so is more likely to benefit from a boosted nav (going between 1 and 3 or 2 and 4, for example), an extra die and a reroll are great particularly with fickle red dice (on a CR90A or Nebulon-B for example), and a boosted repair command on a corvette lets it actually fix damage cards in one command, which makes it quite capable of removing bothersome crits in half the time as usual (which means it's usually not worth the time to do so under normal circumstances but is appealing with Leia).

I don't see how any of those are particularly corner-case suggestions. Given Command 1 (and to a lesser extent Command 2) ships can't bank many command tokens anyways and are able to precisely time their commands to better perform their roles, Leia's downside is quite minimal for them and her upside is consistently useful. Command 3 ships are on the opposite end of the spectrum and therefore she's just not as useful with them (still not useless mind you, but just not as well-used). Those are the kind of ships Garm does much better with for a cheaper cost.

You let me know when that one is possible. ;)

Interdictor+Wulff can usually produce very similar results. Toss on an Engineering Team if you want to max it out to 9-engineering-point repair commands every turn.
