So I had the idea of running nothing but academy pilots, now, I know this is assenine! But! Its roughly 20 tie fighters with stealth devices or 25 with nothing. Is the 5 extra ships worth stealth devices or no? Thanks guys!

You can only have up to 12 of any small base ship in epic, and only up to six of any large base ship, so not 20-25 TIE fighters

note: you could have twelve academys then fill the rest in with TIE/FOs if you like, I just think that'll be somewhat mentally draining to move so many ships at all once

Awesome, thank you very much man, yeah I feel like it would be as well, just love to do strange builds that are unexpected, helps to entertain the masses.

If you do do that, be wary of any huge ship barreling by, poor TIEs will explode on the huge base running them over

Oh yeah, was super afraid of that basically running over like half of them

If they aren't run over though, and survive the guns, I pray for the poor huge ship though, that's a lot of guns going into it (and god help poor rebel transports) (that aren't the bright hope)
