If I use my Snap Shot equipped Green Sqd A-Wing to block, does Snap Shot trigger if the blocked ship bumps my A-wing? Which triggers first, the Snap Shot or the Bumping rule that touching ships can't fire at each other?
Snap Shot and Blocking
Snap shot triggers after an enemy executes a maneuver. So the bump has already happened at that point.
Snap Shot does nothing that allows you to make an attack when you are touching another ship.

For that you need Arvel, hero of the rebellion

Which would actually allow Snap Shot to work in this example although it doesn't in pretty much every other case.

Thanks for the reminder of Arvel. He would be a FANTASTIC blocking pilot if he had an Elite Pilot Skill! Would be nice to have Snap Shot/Juke on him!

But isn't that what the title is for? Granted if he could have TWO EP then he might be interesting.

Yes, that's what the title is for. But if he had an EP Plus A-Wing Test Pilot then he could have Snap Shot and Juke. Would make for a much better blocker. I really don't understand why they didn't give him an EP as there are lower PS pilots that have EP.......Unless they were thinking exactly this idea.

Back when Arvel was released (wave 2?) there were not any unique small base pilots below PS7 with an Elite slot ![]()
Since Rebel Aces (wave 4-ish?) they have fudged that rule more often. On second thought; what wave was the TIE bomber and HWK? Those both have Elite on a P6 pilot...

the TIE Bomber and the HWK were both wave 3, but the fact that they made (and continue to make) ships where some of the unique's have EPTs and some don't is truly astounding.
Biggs is literally the only pilot in the entire game that has seen significant competitive play where at least some of his fellow unique's have EPTs. only his enormously powerful ability keeps him competitive.
Literally all other unique pilot that are released these days without an EPT where the same ship have other uniques with EPTs is DOA.
Edit:
Sorry for the rant, totally off topic, but yeah as other have said above snap shot doesn't let you shot ships you are touching.
Edited by Mace WinduI wouldn't say Biggs is the ONLY unique to see play who doesn't have an EPT although he may be the only one currently seeing play. Once upon a time you'd certainly consider Backstabber or Dark Curse despite their lack of EPT.

Yes there are Unique pilots that see play that don't have EPT's (Miranda being the obvious one, however she effectively has 2 abilities so makes up for it) however I was specifically referring to ships that DO have Pilots with EPTs and pilots without EPTs, and that the pilots without EPTs see zero play, with the exception of Biggs of course.
Notable ships that have no pilots with EPTs being the K-Wing and the Ghost.
Backstabber was last seen on the competitive scene about wave 5 or earlier, and even then it was marginal play at best.

The point is whether uniques without epts *where that ship has ept pilots* get used. And biggs is more or less the only time except for ships like the ARC and attack shuttle that have not got any generics.
