Carrack cruiser design

By chr335, in Star Wars: Armada

Yep, that's it Egg.

Dreadnoughts were first mentioned in Zahn's Dark Force Rising c. 1992. And if we're going to start pointing fingers and declaring rip-offs, we could start comparing the 1978 Battlestar everyone's forgotten about with Imperial Star Destroyers. Indeed, the whole reason Battlestar got off the ground in the firstplace was because Star Wars was big and everyone wanted their own version.... including Television.

Double double (post) toil and trouble.

Why are you so certain of that?

I've been a fan for over three decades, and drank up Legends fairly thoroughly, including the old RPG, which (iirc) brought forth the Carrack. To me, it looks horribly unremarkable, and seems to have been drawn by someone who did not get the scale memo. Where are the broadside guns it supposedly bristles with?

To me, it doesn't look phallic. It's just an elongated minivan that takes the little stormtroopers to soccer practice.

I stand corrected, there are at least 4 fans who dislike the idea.

As far as being certain? Well this is opinion on the internet.
