Could Doji Challenger still pull someone into combat if she's bowed?

Example would be I declare Doji Challenger as an attacker by herself, opponent defends with Doji Gift Giver and uses defender first action to force me to bow the Doji Challenger. Could I still use the Challenger to pull another guy into the fight?

I didn't find an answer to this in any of the preview articles, but it's possible it was discussed elsewhere.

Bowed characters can use their abilities. It was discussed in one of the Facebook live sessions.

As long as the ability does not require the character to bow.

Well, hard for a bowed character to bow. You can't use any ability if you can't pay the cost.
