Building Whisper+Quickdraw

So. Trying to find a new imperial list with ships I haven't flown enough. I really want to use both Whisper and QD, but the two together make for an awkward third wheel. I have a couple ideas, but I would like some input.

Whisper: (41 pts)

Veteran Instincts

Fire Control System

Agent Kallus

Advanced Cloaking Device

Quickdraw: (35 pts)

Lone Wolf

Fire Control System

Special Ops Training

Lightweight Frame

And as for the third wheel I have three ideas-

Zeta Leader- (22 pts)

Veteran Instincts

Twin Ion

-Let's me have Lone Wolf on QD and leaves me a two point bid. Can hit with three dice and is a third ps9 which is nice.

Omicron Group Pilot: (24 pts)

Darth Vader

-Doom Shuttle. Problem here is I have to either give up the bid or the Lone Wolf. And it's not maneuverable. And the half points issue.

Pure Sabacc- (24 pts)

Adaptability

Adaptive Ailerons

Lightweight Frame

-I like this guy but it's the same 24 point problem as the doom shuttle. Could give up the frame, but that probably makes him too squishy I think.

Right now I think I'm leaning towards Zeta. Any reason why that's a bad idea? Any other ideas of 22-ish point ships? Thanks.

You don't need Fire Control system on a ship with Lone Wolf. You can spend those points on Pattern Analyzer, which pretty well mitigates the red on the TIE/sf dial. If you make that change, then you might as well use Collision Detector in the system upgrade slot since it's free.

For your third ship, Zeta Ace is better off with Wired. If you want high pilot skill in a TIE/fo, Epsilon Ace with Targeting Synchronizer is 20 points and makes good support for Whisper.

Other good and/or fun options: Wampa (14), Sienar Test Pilot w/ title and Autothrusters (19), Scimitar Squadron Pilot w/ TIE Shuttle, Mara Jade and Rebel Captive (22), Deathfire with Proximity or Cluster and Extra Munitions (22-23)

I especially like the Scimitar. Fly it as a blocker, and give the Mindlink Meta the finger.

Would suggest to remove Lone Wolf (often hard to trigger when not using turrets) and instead take A score to settle. Then Pure Sabacc should fit in nicely

I'm a fan of Zeta Leader over Sabacc. Mk2 optional, because FO get that hard 2 green. Comm Relay is solid though.

Been messing around with this and really enjoying it.

At 97 pts Quickdraw and Whisper are moving last to deal with Intense Poe and hopefully avoiding some bombs or closing gaps on Dash HLC.

Countdown can get up in Rey / Dengar grills without giving a crit or giggle and is a tanky annoying lil 3 dice fly.

Is it better than the good stuff...probably not...

Is it fun...yup
