I have been hearing through various sources that Fantasy Flight will only be making a limited print run of Awakenings and Spirit. I hear 1 more Awakenings print run and not sure about Spirit. Can someone tell me if an official source can be quoted as to what exactly how many production runs there will be of the boosters? I am asking because I am considering buy a box kind of as an "investment" where by if I get more into the game into the future I can always open the box up but if not I can at least recoup my cost and maybe a bit more. Can someone link on here where anything official about production run or time frame has been mentioned? Thanks.

I cannot answer your question with official FFG quote.

However, here in canada, main distributor has annouced 1 print run of awakening remaining to be shipped (June) and 1 more SoR. The SoR wave should be relatively big, the awakening one should be limites to "preserve" the collection value of the set (Was there official answer).

Awakenings - yes 1 reprint gonna be shipped then its gone. ETA - June/July

Spirit - i do not think it has been EoLed yet, but we can assume that after EAW release SoR gonna be discontinued. It may even have lesser number of reprint waves than Awakenings due to FFG claiming that SoR release print was the biggest print they ever made.

FFG announced that each expansion set (sets that do not have a linked starter deck) are single print run sets.

SoR is a single print run unless FFG revisits that policy. Whatever has been made for SoR is all that is made.

I'm curious as to when in June the Awakenings reprint is. Odd that FF hasn't communicated this to us.

I do have it on a pretty good source, sorry can's say who, that there will be a public announcement soon.

I was lead to believe this announcement will be a HUGE shipment of SoR (Wave 3 and probably the last) along with Awakenings (also huge and a one shot reprint deal) . . . coming soon!

Sorry I can't give you more than that, but that is what its looking like.

And to me, THIS continues to be the most frustrating thing about FFG in general. You never hear anything direct...it always comes from someone who heard it from someone else higher up the food chain - but good things are coming! They really need to get ahead of things and start communicating more effectively. On this particular issue, the fact that their last communication update was from Feb 28th is crazy. And the supply stuff isn't even using the one tool they DO promote to keep track of stuff, their website's "Upcoming" tab. Ridiculous.

By the way, Jut - thank you for the update. I get that there is likely some insiders-only, distro level intel going on here and appreciate your input. I just wish there was more from the company itself and more quickly/reliably.

Since the TC thread seems to indicate the next week or two; ya here is the deal:

My local flgs peeps, have a great relationship with their distri butors and Asmodee peeps, and the flgs peeps were (sadly as you pointed out) given no hard and fast dates, but were assured a public announcement, quickly followed by product, was incoming very soon.

Maybe Monday with the TC posting?

Again, not to be over secretive or melodramatic, but I have heard from my "sources" today, that this Awakenings "reprint" looks to be VERY small, now my sources did NOT confirm if this was a "first wave" of Awakenings or if this is all we are getting in this one shot, but my sources were pretty bummed at just how much product was NOT coming in this week and next.

I certainly don't want to be Chicken Little, I love this game, but this is just kinda depressing. First world problems, I get it, trust me, still pretty sucky though.

What will REALLY tick people off is if the reason there are no Awakening boxes is because they are all going to Barnes and Noble...

Heh im reading all of you guys and im pretty **** happy we have localized version of the game in Poland - i guess that would be a nightmare to buy so boosters now if not for that.

yeah i dont think we should panic just yet. this was the exact way people were reacting when SoR was reprinted and seemed like a small run at first, but its been coming in waves and there seems to be plenty to go around.

ill prob pick up some loose boosters when the Awakenings first comes out try to find a box or two at a good price. even if that means waiting a few weeks.

Booster boxes have been available for preorder from team covenant for about a week now. They posted on twitter that they should be shipped next week.

My flgs ordered 100+ boxes of Awakenings and they are getting, 5 boxes! Five!!!

With ZERO indication from Asmodee/FFG/Distributors that there will be any more shipped.

I think if you can get your hands on boxes next week or the following: DO IT!!!

And still not a single word from Asmodee/FFG direct...and officially half way through June now, the month they said we'd receive product way back in February...

They told us when they released the game, awakenings will be reprinted, nothing else will. Not even starters. They are going to make new starters though.

Will this game have rotations the way Magic: The Gathering does? It would suck for all the cards to be rendered invalid after a year.

Awakenings reprint officially scheduled for release June 22. The owner of my FLGS announced that yesterday, and sadly also said that the run will be so limited that they will not be doing preorders. It will be one print run, in very low quantities, so get it when you can! It's basically the Cabbage Patch Doll or the ZhuZhu Hamster of the FLGS at this point...

I can and I make break down and do that eventually, But a lot of online stores are sold out and there is just something about spending $10.00 a card that I just can't do.
