Elemental Compatibility and MA

By Pavlovian, in Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG

I have a question:

Elemental Compatibility adds +20 to MA for one Path, but how does this effect MA Multiple? Is the bonus added before or after multiplying Base MA with Multiple.

(MA +20) * Multiple OR (MA * Multiple) + 20 ???

The former seems a bit much, but the rules seem to imply that one...

Some clarity, please...

Kind Regards

A rule nut...

if you look at the character sheet, there are 3 separate boxes. Base MA, Multiples, Special. the +20 goes in special for said path. the calculation goes as follows (Base MA * Multiples) + Special

also, free access spells bought in a particular path count as spells "attuned to that path" so if i bought slow fall in the path of light and have elemental compatibility with light it would also affect the MA i use for slow fall.

-EDIT- also elemental compatibility only works when you declare at the start of accumulation which spell you are accumulating for and for what cost. if you accumulate for general magic it will not give you the bonus 20, even if you can only cast spells of the path you are compatible with.
