I think you need to switch the droids on the X's. The whole point of his ability is holding onto a focus without spending it.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks for the tips, still getting used to trying to match synergies.

You also might want to consider that with the torps too. The proton on Poe is wasted unless you roll to focus. Personally, I would get rid of the torps and do a snap/juke version of the A-wing. It make sooooo much more than just a blocker.

Green squad (19)- Juke(2), snap shot(2), chardin refit(-2), autothrusters (2)

total - 23 points.

Ok, thx for all the help, will give that a try.

What do you think of outmaneuver on asty, do you think PTL would be better?

As Biggsy wrote "switch the droids". R5-P9 synergizes so well with Poes ability and R2-D2 is better on Ello.

You should also put the pattern analyzer on Poe rather, than Ello. Ellos tallonrolls are white, so he is not likely to get stressed, while Poes are red.

Thx

The problem with PTL is that it negates Asty's ability. Expertise would probably get more work than outmaneuver thou.

Considering the remarks on your list. I would suggest the following. Snapfire A-wing do not need Autothrusters, because it will seldom be at range 3 and often in arc. On the other hand your two regenerating 40-point aces can get good use from Autothrusters. It will sometimes keep them at only loosing shields, which can be regenerated. Autothrusters can potentially save your aces from a lot of damage, while Integrated Astromech at best can save a crit. Expertise on Ello because he does not get stressed easy. Pattern analyzer on Poe so he can get focus for his abillity and regeneration, which is essential. Veteran Instincts on Poe as I see as your endgame ace. With PS 10, regeneration, his ability and Autothrusters he can go toe to toe with other powerhouses

Poe (31), Veteran Instincts, R5-P9, Pattern analyzer, Autothrusters (39)

Ello (30), Expertise, R2-D2, Autothrusters (40)

Green Sq. (19), title, Juke, Snapshot, Chardaan Refit (21)

OR another option

Poe PS9 (33), PTL, R5-P9, Pattern analyzer, Autothrusters (43)

Ello (30), Adaptability, R2-D2, Autothrusters (36)

Green Sq. (19), title, Juke, Snapshot, Chardaan Refit (21)

I like the PTL POE version better. We had a store championship tournament this weekend and a friend of mine ran 3 T-70's. PA got a lot of work in and is definitely worth it.

Alternatively, expertise is a great card, but I think it's only worth it on something that can potentially attack multiple times: Dengar, Quickdraw, anything that uses cluster missiles. I ran an Assaj/Dengar list and Dengar with expertise is definitely worth the points.

Have you tried Nien Numb? He is in my opinion superior to Ello. Most of the time, the Troll will land you with and enemy in arc at r1. So, Nien usually allows you to do the same thing, and so much more.
