Quick! Make that guy feel worse, before you realise his point...

It's a pity that jumpmasters didn't go up in price by 5 points each. The CR-O-C is kinda fixed though, right?

Increase the squad points for all JM5K pilots by 6 points. Reduce the squad points of the Punishing One title by 6 points. Job done?

Reduce it to 8 or something, Dengar is still very strong.

I think this was just a housekeeping set for FAQs till now, this can't be the complete package for the balanced game, right? I might not yet be awake.

....where's my tea?

The great nerf FAQ. Not.

Oh ye of little faith! You doubt the coming of the Great Nerfing II: Nerfing's Revenge??!?!?

This was the quick plug to fix the C-ROC misprint (no middle line) and the Aggressor / Tie Aggressor nonsense. The Great Nerfing II is coming....

FAQ balance changes take a long time to test and get approved by LFL.

There's almost no chance they could have [properly] tested any changes this soon. And we probably do not want them randomly throwing out untested balanced changes...

There is no way LFL has to approve balance changes. They don't care about the content of the game itself. FAQ releases have to be approved (presumably) as standard procedure for any media to make sure the brand doesn't get missrepresented in it. Unfortunately that means FAQ releases will be more sluggish than they could potentialy be.

You misstate sir/madame!

It is "The Empire Nerfs Back."

LFL has to approve any alterations to the game and any publications that mention star wars characters by name. Both of which occur in an FAQ.

Pretty sure they don't have an exact insight on the game and limit their approval process to how the brand is represented etc.

So the IG88 title can be applied to any scum ships?

unfortunately not, its now a scum only, aggressor only title to stop silliness with the new TIE (personally, i think they should have left the card as-is and let the hilarity ensue)

Nope.

It's The Great Nerfing II: Electric Nerfaloo

Gotcha

Thanks

Nonetheless, LFL approval is required for FAQ changes (as per playtesters).

Not for the changes, but for the publication I would assume.

Yes.

I think you are both arguing semantics. large FAQs take longer cuz LFL. This was urgent and small so it was able to get pushed out quickly.

I was not aware that "Not" jokes were coming back into the meta.

Only if the goal is for the contracted scout to be as useless as other large base generics. And probably tel. Manaroo MIGHT see some use (though doubtful unless she's running the title). Dengaroo would still be played.

I think when they realized that missing line there was nightmare week for them to try fixing it, so I guess rather pushing release date in nearish future and pulling all ships back they made decision under tremendous amount of stress to use his firing arc to divide sides. This smells like that kind of a decision, not sure if there is any logical reason to change it like this other than surviving epic mistake of screwing whole release date.

So this was made in haste and I think they just threw few other fixes there also! There will be that official great nerf to come out one day here, wouldn't really be expecting it in few months.

Acerbic and to the point as usual. Please do carry on. :)

It just explains some of the interactions with the C-ROC, for example why there isn't a blue line on the base. However it doesn't clarify everything such as how Azmerogon interacts with Jabba the Hutt.

At least it wasn't another NerF.A.Q. with a ton of Nerfratas.

Plus... the lack of the blue dividing line on the base token is not an error. The C-ROC just has a big Aft.
