To be fair, you don't need any precognition to know this was a year of the Total Solar Eclipse in the US... In fact, good ol' fashion scientific prediction has the dates set for all the US-visible total solar eclipses of the next century, all the way out to one in May of 2097. That's sort of the opposite of precognition...

You lucky dog. I've been planning to visit some relatives on the north side of KC on that day to see the event. It's only going to be a long road trip.

I remember this happening as a kid in the 80s living in Colorado .. would be cool to be playing a game of x.wing at the time of the event ... there's a lot of news hype every so often about this, recently it was about a college renting rooms at that time

Ok so down here in Alabama i will drink a beer and watch nascar with maybe nightvision :p.

You wouldn't play much X-Wing under totality and I'd say there are better things to watch at the time.
