"Hull Stress" A control list for scum

Hi folks! Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've been toying with the idea of running a stress control list, and I'd like to see what you think about it.

Ideas on it's weaknesses?

the Z's need G-chips.

Also, I'm not sure about tactician on the HWK. It only works in arc and your biggest advantage is you don't need to be in arc with the ion turret.

I like the list, and I do think the scyk is definitely underused, we'll see if the new title helps that.

I really don't think Flechette Cannons are worth it, considering the amount of ships above 4 hull

Greebwahn: Why does the inclusion of 4+ hull ships make the flechette a poor choice? If it makes any sense, I intend for the Scyk to provide stress tokens to the enemy list, and for the Zs and Hwk to use BMST to send damage past shields.

That's flechette torpedoes. The cannons aren't worth it because they can't stack stress.

That's true, but it depends on what your trying to do with the list. This list is built to get damage cards around shields. And BMST does exactly that. And even if it doesn't go thru, your opponent is still limited to green maneuvers to get an action.

Oh lol whoops I forgot the hull restriction is only for the torps! That certainly seems to have more value then, though like @thespaceinvader says, one damage and no stress-stacking makes them less appealing.

Toss the Saboteur out the airlock and make way for Greedo on Dace Bonearm. It really mashes your opponent's potatoes to take 1 face up damage, 1 face down damage, and an ion token from a HWK out of ark. I feel like Dace has an arm tattoo that reads "Rude Dude" in Aubresh, though I suppose that's neither here nor there...

BMST for one facedown, which greedo flips up? If the Ion cannon hits, it's two against shields and an ion token, right?

Pretty funny either way. hmm....

Greedo only works on attacks which BMST is not.

You also get another damage for Dace's ability

Good call.

So Greedo isn't doing much until after the opponent's shields are stripped, which means the HWK is likely to suffer greedo long before the target...

Oh, well, can't win 'em all.

I could swap Dace out with Torkil, and spend the points elsewhere. Trkil's ability to make an enemy fire at PS0 is pretty funny, too.
