I mostly play friendly matches against my pal, and now I'm trying to find a way to counter his 5-TIE miniswarm. His list is the following:

Omega Leader - Juke, Comm relay, Stealth Device

Howlrunner - Swarm Tactics, Stealth Device

Mauler Mithel

Wampa

Scourge

I'm trying to come up with a list that DOESN'T contain the K-Wing, because I screwed him over with it enough times that he developed a lasting, heartfelt hatred towards the thing. X) And I'm nice enough to not try to make our games unfun to him.

Currently my idea for a counter list is the following:

Norra Wexley: Title, PTL, R2D2, RecSpec, Vectored Thrusters

Wes Janson: VI, BB8, IntAstro

Gold Sq. Pilot: R3-A2, title, TLT

Janson shoots first, removes TL from Omega Leader, Stressbot does stressbot things, Norra acts as a flyswatter, taking them out one by one. 5-dice range 1 attacks are pretty brutal.

Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

Looks like a good plan, but the Stresshog might be better as Biggs, in which case you would put R3-A2 on Wes. Biggs helps you make sure that you keep Norra for late game.

That definitely would be. 6- z's. 2 with thread tracers and 4 with assault and guidance chips, and watch the whole thing explode violently.
