I recently went to buy a 2nd TIE phantom, shop didn't have any so they special ordered it. It's been a while, and I've noticed a lot of online stores are showing it as out of stock.

Is the Phantom OOP right now?

To the original poster, yes, it's being "reprinted" according to the FFG status page.

Dang. How long does that usually take? Will I be waiting on my order for a while?

If you go to the "Upcoming" page ( https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/upcoming/ ) and select Reprint, you'll see a list of everything that is currently being reprinted (more than just X-Wing). On the side it describes the stages:

Awaiting Reprint - We know we're out, we have to print some more

At The Printer - We are actively printing (producing) more of this item

On the Boat - We're done printing and packaging and they're on the way over to your country from China

Shipping Now - It's arrived in your country and is being sent to distributors

In Stores Now - Yay! You can buy it again...

Oh ... I just thought OOP means Over Over Powered. Shurely they are not.

For what it's worth, nothing in the X-Wing line will ever go out of print, they will continue to make every expansion for the game as long as the game itself is being published.

If you live in a large enough area to support multiple stores, it might be a good opportunity to visit one (or more) of the others. Sometimes places have vastly different stocks. Locally, there are two shops near each other. One is picked over and looking pretty ragged. The other is just about full up.
