Hey so quick question does the cybernetic brain implant give wireless capabilities?

For stuff like slicing and what not?

It would seem that way, though as a GM, I wouldn't consider this to be "proper tools" for slicing.

I think it just turns on stuff of yours and acts as a sort of computer comm, like when Lando does his space Morse code to Lobot on his watch in Empire.

That one hacker guy in Rebels used it - the one that somehow got blown up by a reverse-slicing. He was doing wireless slicing, but he also had a bunch of specialized slicing gear. I'd say you can't usually slice via wireless - or more accurately the implant doesn't count as slicing tools.

I'd allow you to use it with the normal penalties associated with slicing without tools. More interestingly, I'd allow you to use your actual slicing gear remotely. I like the idea of plugging in a spike and walking away. With proper setup, you could even reasonably frame someone else for your slicing.

[edit]On thinking about it, I don't even remember if the 'no tools' rule applies to slicing or just mechanics or what. Either way, tools are tools.
