Can you spend multiple focus tokens on a single attack

By stormblest, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Is there any rule stating that you cannot modify your attack with two focuses?

Ex). You have Heavy Laser Cannon with one hit, one blank, and two focuses. You Recon specialist as crew. Your pilot has calculation which enables you to spend a focus to change one of your focus results to a critical hit. Can you spend the second Focus that you have to change the other Focus results to a normal hit?

Correct. You just cannot spend them for the standard effect twice. For example, an A-Wing Test Pilot with two Calculations and somehow two Foci could turn two eyes into crits.

Gotcha. Thank you so much.

So does that mean only one focus per both the TLT or cluster missile attacks?

Can't have two Calculations.

You can spend a single focus each on as many distinct things as you have available, but each thing can only be triggered once per red/green roll.

No. Each attack is separate for this purpose.

The limit is not one normal use per attack. It's one normal use per Modify Dice step. (FAQ 4.3.2 p. 7)

There is a distinct Modify Attack (or Defense) Dice step each time attack (or defense) dice are rolled. (Rules ref. p. 5)

You're right, terrible example.
