so my LGS will be having it's first ever IA tournament, the owner loves IA and he got a lot of us into it, we should be 4 -6 people, all pretty noobish. This is the list i'm bringing, bear in mind that this is what i have and it's painted because i hate playing with non painted stuff, the question i have is do i stand a chance?

eJet Troopers + Targeting computer

If you have fun playing it, then it's a good list!

If you're not going to make any figure changes, I'd recommend having Terro be your set-up guy with flamethrower, then bring in the rest to finish them off. Terro's 3 die attack can be a little disappointing against higher-cost figures.

If you can make some figure changes, I'd drop the eStormies and add a second set of eJets with Targeting and another Targeting for BT-1 (which helps immensely when you roll just 1 DMG on his red die).

i would make that change on a heartbeat, i mean it takes an hour or so to paint 2 jet troopers but FFG failed to provide me with 2 eJet trooper deployment cards

@Darth evil they'll gladly provide you another eJet card if you provide them with money for another Jabba's Realm set!

If the FLGS owner knows y'all are pretty new, he might let you get away with not having the card. You can always ask!

Maybe you can print out a proxy to see how you like using it. I'm all for supporting the game creators, but buying a whole box for essentially a few extra cards seems absurd, especially before you've even had a chance to test it in a tournament.

It's FFG, why buy one Jabba's Realm when you can buy two at twice the cost.

so i ended up winning going 3-0 with the list above, i had changed the eStormtroopers for a 2nd unit of eJet troopers with TC and Zillo Technique

That sounds like a good change. How'd the elite heavy troopers do in th tournament? They have such low movement compared to the other figures on your list, just curious if they put up a good fight.

Congrats! And yeah looking over your initial list my first thought was that you needed Zillo, and my second was for you to add in a second eJet with Targetting Computer and to drop the eStormies :-). Hope you guys can maintain a good tourney scene!

they did alright, my usual use for them was to go for one of the terminals and defend it which they did quite well, they also served as a good spot for Explosive weaponry once BT-1 was dead. i could see myself replacing them with 2 groups of Jet Troopers or something along those lines
