Next batch of Q&A, this time focusing on Purge the Unclean - Shades on Twilight, but also a question I missed going through the Rejoice for You are True information I gathered.
From Purge the Unclean - Rejoice for You are True
- What is joliq? It's supposedly spiking the punch at Lady Borella's soiree. So obviously some alcohol. Any real world equivalent? ———— > Very powerful spirits, like say bourbon or vodka.
From Purge the Unclean - Shades on Twilight:
-
For the Corsair Weapons, was it ever thought of or decided to have prices for their worth/ammo replacement? If so what were they? ——— > They are NPCs, so it’s really up to the GM. I’d say the rules from Enemies Without for their weapons would work though.
-
Was Marguthe and the Solven System intended to be in the Calixis Sector? Same question about Kadyx Esern. ————— > I’d assume so unless the GM wanted them elsewhere.
-
Was any more decided about the Hammers of Retribution chapter? ———— > Nope, they were more a one-off for this adventure.
-
Suggestion on a profile for Inquisitorial Storm Troopers? ———— > I’d use the PC rules from Only War for them, or the Drajkon Guardsman from Chaos Commandment can double here as Storm Troopers.
-
When the acolytes get off the Helios it states their chrnomoeters read 12 hours until barrage. The timelines states it's 15 hours when they dock. ———— > Go with the timeline.
-
How much XP would you recommend as a reward for coming up with a booby trap idea? ———— > 50 or so, depending on how they do it.
-
The adventure states that Molochan and Trempan are already injured, do their profiles reflect this? If so what do you think their full wound count would be? ———— > Maybe another 5 wounds each.
-
Why would Vogel possessing one of the acolytes allow him to get past the Twilight's wards? ———— > If the PCs find a way to escape, he merely goes along wearing one of their bodies. He can probably figure a way past them once he’s wearing that body; he’s probably been working out a plan to do this for awhile now.
-
Provided Vogel does want to possess an acolyte when values would you recommend for him to have in terms of a Willpower Characteristic? What PR should he have for the purposes of rolling Perils of the Warp? ———— > I’d guess somewhere in the 50’s, and 3 or so. He should probably always roll for Phenomena as he’s a spirit though
-
What opinions do Soldevan's retinue members have on the "desecration" argument the group may get in to concerning the Inquisitor's body? ——— > Depends on the NPC; their entries give some background. But the GM should use them to ideally spark some arguments between the characters—don’t let them all easily agree on a course of action.
-
What is the small oval shaped object (with short spines jutting out in random directions) that the dark eldar use? Vogel grapbs it out of the darkness and smashes it. ————— > Could be any Dark Eldar grenade type really. You could have it be a type of frag grenade that fires splinters for example.
-
Any suggestions for the number of Crimson Woe Raiders deployed in the fight? It just says between 10 and 20 depending on number and level of experience of acolytes. ————— > Exactly so, it really should be the GM’s call depending on the PC group’s current composition, number, and health. 12 for 4 PCs though is a good starting point.
-
I notice in Agamorr's profile that he only has (10)68 Strength. Should it not be (12)68? ————— > Yep!
