So recently I have been looking at how much dust my IGs are gathering these days.
I want to take them out and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for a good updated build or is there nothing better than the old Glittercrack Brobots?

What flavors of bot are there?
Mindlink bots
skinny mindlink bots + Leechos
Glittercrack
Iggy Intensi-C
Expertise bots
Jukebots
Fearless autoblaster bot? I dunno.
AS/PTL
Predator bot
I dunno, most of these probably suck, but I've heard of at least some of them...
The biggest thing holding them back at the moment is Asajj. IGs were always super vulnerable to stress preventing them from turning around.

This is true. Wired helps out a little bit, and provides a source for defensive rerolls.
I'm considering trying A+B with HLC and the Arc Caster. AC is there in case the range 1 primary misses, and you can regen the splash damage with A. If the enemy is flying in formation all the better.

If only juke wasn't small ship only. Juke, sensor jammer bots would be super tanky.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure that we can't just blame Asajj for stress, she might give one, but not every time. There is way bigger stress givers than her. But yes! Stress is their problem, but maybe they could run with Expertise and Electronic Baffle, give them rerolls and ease the stress! Not the ideal to chop pieces of from the ship to get rid of the stress, but could work time to time.

Intensity is small ship only. Bummer.
Sadly, modern brobots are basically Ketsu and Assaj. They're the same only better.
Brobots can get around Asajj. Brobots just can't get around 5-die and 6-die attacks. It's crazy, considering how powerful Brobots were on release, but they just can't hang in the hyper-offense, anti-AGI meta (including bombs).
I loved flying Brobots, so I hope things cycle back around, but for now, any success they have can, IMO, be chalked up as outlier.

I playe dquite a few games with HLC and arc caster after AC was spoiled. I don't think I triggered b's ability for an arc caster shot a single time.
Get at least a 1 pt bid in your list so you can arc dodge Asajj. Also, throw Tractor Beams in your second cannon slot. You'd be surprised how use that can be.
