As I scroll through the featured stories on the home page, I can't help but feel that they won't put the Uthuk up there until they can take down the "Pre-order the Latari Elves faction" announcement.
I guess it doesn't really affect me because I've got my Waiqar the Undying faction, and by the end of next week I'll have a 200 point army.

i get the feeling Wind Rune is a bandaid upgrade for people not used to the maneuvering mechanic in this game, since it IS rather limited compared to xwing/armada.
Trade off being of course the loss of the Equipment slot. Right now that really only means no shield wall or fire runes far as i am concerned, but that could change quick

Compared to Xwing - with wind rune attached in addition to support scion and combat ingenuity, it'll start arc doging as an interceptor

Combat Ingenuity is WAIQAR ONLY.
Not that i'd want that card on a one-shot surge ability anyway. The biggest perk of that is letting it go off multiple times more than letting it go off at all. I'd love that card on my Deathstar Spearmen unit so they can easily snag 1-2 inspiration tokens a turn but yea waiqar filth only.
