Another thread got me to thinking about Wave XII.

With 6 yet to be announced SKUs, what would your guess be on what's announced?

I've seen the thread about the XG-1 Gunboat which would be a nice ship to have.

Also wondering if we might see a new X-wing in Rogue One's Blue Squadron paint with some new pilots?

What else would you expect?

I was thinking, pint in hand, what I would do if I were FFG. I think it might go like this:

1. Nerf Biggs as part of the Scum reduction procedure in the newest FAQ.

2. Immediately announce a new Rogue One Expansion pack that has the painted Blue Squadron X-Wing with two Titles in it to give the X-Wing just a bit of love even Biggs can have. I'm thinking both of the titles require the entire squad to be T-65s as a requirement, but, one Title buffs torpedoes (makes them cost 0 or a more accurate, free new torpedo accuracy mod), and the other gives her a free maneuverability mod for free.

But then, that's just an armchair quarterback kinda idea....

I keep asking for it, and I'll post it here because why not: TIE Reaper.

I saw a new LEGO set I had never seen before. Tracker I. Is it a Phantom? Is it a Defender? Or is it a Striker? I don't know, but that's my guess

Drop the first pseudo-Prequel wave.

1. rebels get the N-1.

2. Imps get the V-wing.

3. Scum gets the Belbullab-22.

All 3 ships have pilots for their respective factions AND for the Republic and CiS. The "standard faction" pilots are tourney legal, the Republic and CiS versions are not. . .for now?

Discounting probable movie-tie in ships (I'd guess a Resistance A-Wing and TIE /FOI or /FOB but still a little far out for that)

For Rebels, I'm gonna guess N-1 or Phantom II. Either might give an opportunity to release astromechs which could help out some rebel ships in general, Phantom II could probably include some more crew to scratch off the list and either might have interesting stat/upgrade combinations.

Imperials I have no other guesses except maybe a ship from R1 not yet in the game, like the TIE Reaper or one of the shuttle types. Obviously everybody says gunboat, but I think we'll have to see how Imperials as the double missile faction does on the table first.

Scum I have no clue. They've got fixes for Sycks, Kihraxzes and StarVipers - what do they want or need? People keep saying mining guild TIEs, but they just got Light Syck and have Z-95s already, how many 12-base swarm ships do you need? Pie in the sky is the Gauntlet but, y'know, scaling.

I'm hoping Rogue squadron or some sort of Scarif survivors pack which will include a T-65/70 buff.
Hoping for a title that gives barrel roll for free and allows you to take an additional mod for free up to x (2?) points.

T-65's need a little love, they are not nearly as broken as people cry about. Fantastic pilot abilities and the ever expanding list of droids keep it relevant.

Honestly not sure what else they can stick out there unless it's all from the new SW movie.

I saw that Lego kit as well, where did that ship come from? Is it in rebels season 3 (that I have not watched yet)

I looked at it again since I originally posted it, and it has that little kid in it. So I think it's from that Freemaker LEGO cartoon. I haven't seen any of those episodes though

A closer look at the description of the Tracker 1 and the characters included make it look like it's from Lego's "Freemaker Chronicles". It absolutely looks like a version of the TIE Phantom, but will probably be only an exclusive Lego series ship.

Rebels: N-1

Empire: the Patrol Gunboat in Viktor Hel's pilot card

Scum: Ark Angel

Lego did something similar with Jek-14's fighter from the Yoda Chronicles. Release a classic EU ship but without directly calling it by that name.

I mean, that's obviously an E-wing but they don't call it an E-wing.

I'm not expecting the XG1 till wave 14-15, as the suprise han solo movie ship.

Since this wave has the suprise TLJ ships, the Large Base Resistance Bomber, Resistance Awing, and Kylo Rens Advanced Tie Intercepter (with title for non royal guard tie intercepters) seem a shoe in.

Scum is still scraping the bottom of the barrel, so no idea what they would add.

I believe it is 2 Ships for each faction from Episode 8, and they are under NDA to not discuss them until the Episode 8 release date approaches. What they are, I can't say until I see the movie.

No Gunboat

Could also be 1 ship for each faction from Ep 8 and 1 ship for each faction from the Han Solo movie, which comes out just 6 months later.

I think that it's bit too early to call wave 12.. it's not that long when we got wave 11 news.

Wave XII shall be announced after all the previews of Wave XI and Scum Veterans, X-Wing 101's, and an interview-with-a-champion.

Then, as I predict from my garden-bench while overlooking the vegetable-patch with a glass of mead in hand, just before the airing of Episode VIII; FFG shall announce Wave XII.

Some heavy Resistance fighter or bomber, some First Order shizzle and one or other villainy-Vessel

Some upgrades which lean dangerously towards MtG style of play. But also something really really cool which will make us all run to our LGS.

We will applaude, we will complain, we will play.

Probably a good reason why you are not a Game Dev. But I can't blame you, after the last NerF.A.Q. many folks thinks that Nerfratas are the only solution to their problems.
