The problem with this plan (other than weakening your alpha strike due to the absence of additional modifier) `is that LRS-equipped bombers can't acquire target lock at range 1-2 even from tracers. Also LRS telegraphs your intentions and doesn't allow you to bluff and change your targets on the fly (which is important for a successful bomber strike). From my experience flying low-PS bombers you should expect to lose one bomber to PS-kill before it fires half of the time at least and should account for that in your battle plan.
