The way I see things playing out is after the first encounter, then I will 5k with my bombers, and have the Inquisitor hit the next target with Tracers to set up for the next attack. Of course this is all situational, but if I can read my opponent well and not lose anyone in the first encounter, then it should play out this way. Then again, I also can't rule out using Chips. I can always play test this build with the Scimitars having Concussion Missiles + LRS, then play test them with Proton Torps + Chips.

The problem with this plan (other than weakening your alpha strike due to the absence of additional modifier) `is that LRS-equipped bombers can't acquire target lock at range 1-2 even from tracers. Also LRS telegraphs your intentions and doesn't allow you to bluff and change your targets on the fly (which is important for a successful bomber strike). From my experience flying low-PS bombers you should expect to lose one bomber to PS-kill before it fires half of the time at least and should account for that in your battle plan.

This is definitely something I'm going to take into consideration while I test them out. I guess I just have to run them both and see what works and what doesn't work for me personally. Thank you for your input. This is really helping me get the list ready and understanding exactly what this list is capable of.

@PT106 Is right. If you take the tracers you don't need LRS (theoretically). LRS may actually hinder you because the enemy might be at range 2 when you fire that tracer off!
If you are taking tracers, then you should give everyone else guidance chips (which you might even be able to trade for since double jumps is a thing again).
If you are NOT taking tracers, then LRS is better because you can guarantee you will get that target lock.
In either case you should be able to get target lock and focus for that first torpedo/missile attack.

You will have to watch out for that Dengar/Tel ps9 alpha strike list though if you do the tracers. Anything that can wipe the Inquisitor off the board before he fires his tracers could disrupt your strategy. Probably best to flank with him.
