While not a durable as 4x Blue Squadron Novices, this offers up to 16 fully modified dice backed up by Crackshot. After deleting the most important ship the opponent has, the ships still offer solid firepower and maneuverability thanks to vectored thrusters.
The other alternative, of course, would be to replace Crack Shot with Mindlink for better long-term power at the expense of a weakened alpha strike.
