any relay is better than no relay, even with big ships, almost better actually. Nothing is worse than activating squads on an isd and realizing there's only two squads inside medium and the rest just hang there and die.

I almost always have BC if I run more than 4 squads so the range restriction isn't an issue for me. Good points though.

I'm a lover of Jendon, Rymer, Steele. It's a very contained first strike set of activations with a big treat range that reliability put 4-5 damage on a ship. It can be activated by a gozanti and used to hunt small ships, take out damaged ships trying to escape.
