Imperial Tournament Feedback

By Cusm, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

I am playing in my first tournament this weekend. I originally found this list or something similar months ago and used something similar for my CC build. I really like this and it is about the only list I have run; I really enjoy it and I have had a lot of luck with my CC fleet. I would appreciate any feedback or changes. I don't think my local community is too big into the meta so I hope I don't see Rieekan MSU all day.

Totally can work, but advanced gunnery can backfire on you pretty big sine whatever target you pick is almost guarenteed to die in a 3 activation light squadron list.

Swap wing commander for Skilled First Officer and use the points to upgrade Tempest to Zertek and maybe take Insideous on the other GSD

Thanks for the feedback, I saw this info after the tournament. I really like Wing Commander on the ISD, I can take whatever I want on the dial and switch when I need to. I like Tempest since it adds a bomber just in case and I did run Insidious. I changed up the objectives, I used Solar Corona, Jamming Barrier and Close Range Intel Scan. Since I am still learning and our next tournament is the Store Championship I will probably stick with this build or a version of this build. I really love the carrier ISD and it hits so hard if it can get in range. I love the Gladiators, but they need close range to really do their damage, I am thinking of replacing the Insidious for another ship or ship and flotilla but I don't know what to try. I went up against a 6 activation, 4 CR90 and 2 MC30, build that I was worried about getting my ships in the middle of his ships and losing mine from sheer number of attacks, I wold not mind increasing my activations. I am real interested in the Imperial Light Carrier, maybe open my ISD to more offensive work.

I forgot to add, we only had 4 show up for the tournament but I did go 3-0 and walked away with the win.
