Timing on palp's die change

They shouldn't unless they're allowing predator to "roll" dice that target lock had previously "rolled". The concept of "rerolling" a die is neither new nor unique to palp.

I don't know if anyone is following this anymore, but would M9-G8 work on palp? So my question is, if someone calls a "kaboom", can I make the attacker reroll the "kaboom"?

Palpatine specifically says that the die he changes cannot be modified again, and since re-rolling is a form of modification, the answer would be no.
