Missing Commanders and thoughts

By ShadowFox1138, in Star Wars: Armada

Admiral Piett........should have been out with the ISD.......or are they holding him for the SSD???

Grand Admiral Thrawn......a special edition ISD with the symbol on the bottom?....or is he just too hard to figure out how to be playable????

As I am an Imperial player....I don't care about the Rebels

But to be fair is there a commander you think should have been out by now? Or even an Imperial commander?

Palpatine for the imps is also missing. (Might be an officer)

Pretty much discussed to death in past threads.

Imperials, in order of neededness: Thrawn, Palpatine, Piett, Krennic, Pellaeon.

Rebels, in order of neededness: Raddus, Organa, Solo, Dravis.

It has been....but I have been gone for a while....but its still fun to think on :)

I think that Thrawn should be a high-risk high-reward commander that encites the player to think like Thrawn. Something like, all ships become command 3, their dials cannot be affected by any upgrades, but they receive a boost for the command. This encourages the player to try to be a step (or 3) ahead of his enemy and is rewarded with an improved command. To balance with the high difficulty, his price shouldn't be abusively high either :)

EDIT: Had missed the conclusion, the difficulty of making this could make FFG hesitant on putting him, because this may either break the game or make Thrawn fans sad that they need to be analytical and try to guess in order to use their favourite character

They would need to add about 10 command dials to that expansion, just like needa came with his evade token.

But I love the idea.
